UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT 2013 ) Details

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is a first of its kind university in the Pan Asian region. The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is going to conduct the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2013 in May 2013 followed by Centralised Counseling for degree in Various Programs in Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Level. For Admission to different Engineering Programs in UPES conducts its own All India Level Entrance Test ‘UPESEAT 2013’

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to UPESEAT 2013:

For applying in University of petroleum and energy studies, candidate must satisfy following criteria:

Educational Qualification required for UPESEAT 2013:

(1) Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

(2) Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)

Age Limit :

Applicants must satisfy the Age Criteria for eligible in UPESEAT 2013. Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1990 are eligible to apply for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Date of UPESAT 2013 Entrance Exam Schedule:

UPESEAT 2013 Entrance Exam Scheduled will be held on: 25 May 2013 (Saturday), From 9.30 A.M to 12.30 P.M.

UPES 2013 B.Tech Admission (UPESEAT):

How to get admission in University of Petroleum and energy studies (UPES, Dehradun) ?

Admissions for Various B.Tech Programs in University of Petroleum & Energy Studies College of Engineering will be based on the UPESEAT Merit / AIEEE Merit/ Board Merit criteria. University of petroleum and energy as follow:

UPES 2013 Admission through UPESEAT 2013 Merit Rank:

Admission in B.Tech Programs in University of Petroleum & Energy Studies will be based on the Merit Marks Scored by the applicants in UPESEAT 2013 Entrance Test. The Admission will be through UPES Centralized Counseling 2013.

UPES 2013 Admission through AIEEE 2013 Merit Rank:

Admission in B.Tech Programs in University of Petroleum & Energy Studies will be based on the Merit Marks Scored by applicants in AIEEE (JEE Main) 2013 Entrance Test conducted by CBSE. Students having AIEEE Rank between 1 to 1 Lakh are eligibile to apply for Admissions in university of petroleum and energy studies, UPES.

UPES 2013 Admission through Board Exam 2013 Merit Rank:

For B.Tech Admissions under Board Merit Quota applicant must obtain a Minimum of 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level.

UPESEAT 2013 Exam Pattern

UPESEAT 2013 Question paper has five sections in exam, it will include 200 multiple choice questions. The Question distribution in UPES Engineering Admission test is as follow:

Sections – No. of Questions

Mathematics- 50 Questions
Physics- 50 Questions
Chemistry- 50 Questions
English Language Comprehension- 30 Questions
Current Affair Awareness- 20 Questions

Total number of Questions- 200 Questions
